4. Dine in an Igloo

The Riverside Bistro at the Marriot downtown offers a unique dining experience, little private "pop-up" domes with amazing and spectacular winter views of Edmonton's river valley. These little "igloos" can fit a party of 6 and are great for celebrations during the pandemic, but also offer their own allure. When we were driving by one day I pointed to them and exclaimed we should book one and then my darling daughter reserved one for my birthday! Very excited!
