I live in a place now where there are many opportunities to garden, and garden in communal spaces as well. I am going to exercise my green thumb this year, climate willing.

This was my sister Vikki's favourite book. Before I left the UK last year, after she had passed, her husband gave me her personal copy of Watermelon , and told me that she always gave copies of it as gifts to her friends, and that she would want me to have her edition.
